Pagid Dot4 Brake Fluid Any Good???

  S3, Polo
I don't know for sure, but it could be that it has a higher boiling point and designed to last up to 3 years?

I think it's recommended to change normal fluid every 2 years.

The ATE one has a higher boiling point or the Pagid?

I always change brake fluid after 2 years anyway.

Can you mix and match DOT4 fluids? Or do it need to be the same...

The ATE has a higher boiling point.

According to the blurb - "...is compatible with and will mix well with most DOT3, DOT4, or DOT 5.1 fluids."

Just bought 1ltr of SuperBlue for £10, from eBay. :D

HTH.

Oh yeah HAHA.

Why do you got for the SuperBlue out of interest?

£10 is good but how much was postage? With that included they are all above the ECP price. If not, then link please :)

Got it wrong, it wasn't eBay... Look here.

Postage was free.

Why did I opt for the ATE? Well, I'm using my car for pottering about and plan on doing a few track-days a year so I want it to have the best of everything and to work to it's optimum. After reading a few car forums, the ATE seems to be very highly rated, so for the sake of £4-5 extra, I've used what some say is one of the best available products.

The blue colour also makes it easy to gauge when the fresh fluid has reached the calipers.

I run Motul RBF 600, had no problems with it on any of the cars over the years.

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
Pagid DOT4 is just ordinary brake fluid. Nothing special, just a decent quality brand. Every day normal fluid

You won't go wrong with the ATE Superblue Martin, been using it a few years myself with no problems. As said easy to change with colour of it aswel.

That's cheap that link Ben posted.

How big is the capacity on the 1*2's? is it 1L?

Will 1L be enough to flush through the old stuff?

EDIT: Tried the code BIGDEAL31 on Euro car parts, take the super blue down to £10.14 delivered
