Pain in the arse problem

My problem is that my passenger door does not open from the outside once it has been locked. Can anyone help with this as getting ear full from the missus as its getting cold and she has to wait for me to open it.

Erm... I doubt it will open once locked.

yeah, once the drivers side is unlocked the passenger one stays locked

maybe handle isnt connected up. Get the door card off and have a look.

or if it isnt unlocking, that may be something to do with motor/solenoid for locks.

its the metal rod that connects the door handle to the catch on the door. It has teeth on it to adjust how far you need to lift the handle up to open the door... yours has just slipped down.

you need to pop the door card off and unclip the rod from the back of the handle, move it up a notch or two then clip it back into the handle.
