Paint correction needed, damaged laquer on bonnet, help!

  Z4
I've been so so so so stupid.

Bugs splattered all over the front of the car so I used a bug remover spray and sponge and there was still some serious bug guts pasted on there.
Stepdad suggested using a slightly abbrasive pad so I used that, wickid i thought, as soon as it dried i realised I'd made a mahoosive mistake and I've fucked the laquer on the bonnet in little patch like areas :(

I never do things like this, what a plank.

How can this be sorted? Any help greatly appreciated.

Get some SRP as it contains fillers and just keep working it over the areas, It may take some time but will make a difference.

machine polisher needed after wet sanding you will be there all week working by hand.

It didn't take a week, just a couple of hours of elbow grease! Man, that was hard work.

Thought I'd buggered it then! Live and learn :) glad I fixed it for free though.
Cheers for all replies

in future just place a wet cloth/paper towel over them for a few minutes, then wipe them off
