Painting Inlet Manifold

I have just got mine matched and will be putting them on soon but has any1 painted them before would i need a high heat resistant paint?

Is it possible to paint the inlet manifold on a non sport?

yeah i would say so. just rub over with a scotch pad first then plastic promoter it then paint it.

if you need heat resistant paint doesnt that mean there is a problem anyways? On my older cars inlet manifolds where always cold, its the exhaust ones which where glowing red hot.

yes but when the engine is turned off heat is soaked up by the inlet manifold. only stays cool because of the air flow through it.
