Painting wheels advice.

  172 Cup
Is it a worth doing myself? I was wanting to paint the wheels on my 172 cup anthracite or black. Is there any special paint i would have to use on the wheels, any special sealant to put on afterwards. Im assuming the original paint has to be rubbed down 1st. Any advice would be great.
Cheers.

can get away with just keying up the surface really well. most people will just paint them well using conventional halfords type spray cans lacquered a few times for protection.

if your handy with the cans, then you can save yourself a fair bit of cash.

yes, and make sure no dust will get on them, or else it will look horrible when it dries
