Ive just wired up my Panasonic CQ DVR909n and im having trouble with the output signal from its DVD player

When its turned on it sends a dirty signal to the TV screen, with lines crossing the screen and when the screens blue the lines are pink.

Ive tested it on two other screens and its doing the same thing. The screens are perfect as ive tested them with another DVD player and the output to them is perfect.

this is the headunit in question

hi mate, I had this when I was installing the xbox in my car, I found out it was the inverter in the end.

The soloution was to earth the video signal to the earth on the car (eg connect it to the black wire or anywhere on the car chassis)

Simply connect the earth wire (in the composite video cable) to the earth of the car, problem solved.

Cheers _Kdf i was also talking to another guy who told me to earth the hand break cable instead of having it plugged into the handbreak cable switch.

Which part of the yellow composite cable (looks like an RCA?) is the ground part?
