Panel filter or BMC for the 182?

i just bought an ITG panel fitler.. cant really tell any difference to be honest. wasnt expecting to notice a difference though

No diffeence at all? I was looking into getting an itg mainly because it lasts a lifetime i think i read somewhere.

i dont think so no.

but yeah they do last a life time..
will put the paper thing back in when it goes for its 24k service

i thought renault would service them with the itg. You just have to tell them not to change the airfilter? I was looking at the viper and the bmc aswell, but i like the sound of the engine as it is. Dont really want to spend 250+ on an enclosed induction which give un-noticable performance gain and makes it alot louder. Only had the car a few weeks and get enough knobs trying to race me as it is! Dont want to give them another excuse!

Just fitted a Green Panel on mine and very happy with it....the OE airbox seems to have enough inlets from deep down behind the bumper away from heat sources so I decided not to fit a viper/Apollo/Maxogen.

I had a K&N induction kit on my old Renault 19 16v...sounded nice but I'm sure I lost torque with it and especially when it was hot in the summer.
