Panel Removal

  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
Evening Folks

I am fitting some front and rear speakers on the weekend and was wondering if there is anything i should be cautious about when removing the front and rear panels? Anyone got any advice on how best to remove the back ones as i am stumped from looking at them briefly.

Also where is the best place to feed the amp wire from the boot to the battery; are there any blatant holes in the bulkhead i should aim for?

If there is a guide on here and i have somehow missed it could someone link it, if not no worries ill take a few photos for other useless nubs like myself.

Many Thanks

Carlos

You can probably get upto 4awg through the bonnet release cable grommet in the bulkhead, under glovebox... as for panels they should just pull off? my back ones came off with a bit of persuasion...

Cool ill have a look there. I have no idea how to get the rear ones out at first glance. With the door panels i can see most of the screws, im not sure if there is a screw under the rubber thing in the electric window plastic bit, will have a looky nearer the weekend but just wanted to make sure there arent any wires etc that i might damage by taking the inner lining out.

Fubarnet.com for the front doorcard guide. The rears, you need to undo the bolts fastening the front and rear seatbelts, carefully pull it off and up, and then pop out the seatbelt retaining rail.

Looking at that i probably wont need to remove the whole door panel to get the speakers in.
