Panther Black Audi S3 Saloon New Car Protection Detail

Hi guys, it seems to have been a while since I last shared some detailing with you and I've had some amazing machinery in over the past few weeks that I'm sure you'll like to see, starting with this Audi S3 Saloon, in the very interesting Panther Black - a metallic black with undertones of purple, brown and green!

This was a new car prepared on site at Tetbury Audi, requested by the customer.

As it was sat outside the dealership -

The usual wash process wasn't caught on camera but the car was then brought inside to dry off with the sidekick and drying towels.

The paintwork was then deeply cleansed with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid, soon to be followed up with the very durable Swissvax Shield.

A few minor marks were also polished out by machine, where the doors hadn't been finished off correctly at the factory.

The engine bay was given a once over with GTechniq C2v3, along with door shuts and undercarriages.

The owner was over the moon and it was an awesome car that most would enjoy! Comments welcome as always.

My mate had a white one for a bit, looks much better in black! ( although I would never own a black car.)

He's got a gunmetal grey sportback now. I went out in it last night. Yeah it's quick but so so dull! £40k is a lot too!

Don't get the dull comment? for a start its head and shoulders above the 8p s3

By comparison to what other cars is it dull?

No comparisons needed. The engine is really muted, there is no turbo noise, no struggling for grip, very very hard to induce LOOS, and it was raining last night!

It's just all very clinical. Put your foot down, go fast, press brake. There is no other involvement or thinking.

I get that it's a great car, and for what he uses it for, company car doing 20 miles of motorway every day, it's fantastic. But for me, who doesn't do 20 miles if motorway every day, I'd want something a little more eventful.

I agree with the noise, my only criticism is they sound sh1t. The noise is fake
Maybe continually driving a4,a5 and a6's I found the s3 to be fun.

As I said, it's a great car and as a commuter it's the perfect balance if fun and comfort.

But I don't commute so it doesn't interest me.

Looks epic that. I love shield its the best out of the SV range. I find you get more out of a SV wax with Z2 or Z5 underneath it

Good job
