Parcel shelf speaker squeal when I accelerate

I assume the speakers, amp, kit etc... don't matter for this question but when I turn the volume down and accelerate I can hear a squeal come through the speakers which increases in volume/pitch when I accelerate harder. Does anyone know what could possibly cause this? :s

Sounds like a problem my brother had with his clio recently, he fixed it with a ground loop isolator.

Its all to do with the alternator having an increased current the more gas you give it, I think you can pick up a ground loop isolator for a tenner from maplin or for closer to a fiver: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000NVWB9O/?tag=cliospnet01-21
