Is there a little 'give' in the strap as my current setup is set a little further towards the front of the car due to not wanting to butcher my silicone hose.
From experience, would you say a strap would fit my setup?

yeah, its made from rubber so it stretches a little bit.

i wouldnt bother to be honest, your setup looks like it works well. Who looks under there anyway!
