Part Question Near Cat

I am trying to find out what the part is that goes around and up from the cat on a 172cup?

Which part?

One is the anti roll bar and the other is the gear shift linkage

Gear Shift linkage for sure.

What is the usual amount of play / movement?
Does the rod have any bushes that I could renew? powerflex don't show any.

Brass bushes are available for the bottom of the gear stick. I also have some other bushes in testing for the other end.

A new bush in the gearbox can help things also
