PAS Failure

Hi,

My PAS is making a loud noise when steering. What would happen if the pump failed?
and how much would it cost to fix. I have a 03 172 cup.

Is the fluid level alright?

They make a hellish noise if they are low.

As for fixing, you could pick up a pump for £20 and fix it in an hour if you're handy with a spanner.
