pass plus use

i took pass plus after i passed my driving test

but when i took my insurance policy out.. they dint allow me to use it on the policy as i am named driver..

can i use this pass plus next year when im on my own policy?

Depends on the insurance company, a lot of companys give a discount for pass plus but others just dont. Helped me to get insurance that bit cheaper when I first started driving, means nothing now though really

If i remember your pass plus gives you a small discount on your First year of insurance on your own policy. So if your a named driver on another policy, it wont be usable in a year. they were the rules when i passed, although that was a good 8 years ago.

Pass plus is a waste of space IMO. The things that are taught in that should be part of your lessons anyway.

My father is an instructor and does them but he doesn't agree with them,likewise all the "pass your test in 5 days" crap.

Tis a waste of time and money, I bet the amount you save on insurance is less than the cost of pass plus, not bothered to check it though, I never bothered with it as I wasn't one of those "ooh but they drive really fast on the motorway" type of person lol.

my pass plus was free with a government scheme so was worth every penny lol

Only worth it if your council subsidises it by 50% or more. Which mine doesn't.
