passenger seat rattle

Can anyone who has suffered from this fecking annoying rattle in their clios let me know what the dealer said when you put the car in to be fixed? Mine is really getting to me at the moment as unless i have stereo up loud all you hear everytime you go over the slightest non smooth road is rattle rattle rattle....mmmm.....maybe when my car was build renault accidently fitted a rattle snake instead of a cable somewhere in the car

Im convinced that its not my seat but both the rear speaker grills or the plastic trim around them.

for me it is the seat, if you hold it when your driving or someone is in it no rattle!

My 172 does the same!

I get a buzzing sound just before 90mph. Its never there before this and goes away when you go past 90.

Ive had the passenger door panel off (thought it was speaker) and I know believe its the passenger air bag but I havent been brave enough to venture into that department!!

its the seat runners that do it, a few guys have had the replaced, alternatively throw the seat in the bin and get people to sit in the back instead

Been there and had the seat runners on the 172 replaced .... solved ...lucky. But on the 1.6, two new seat runners and a seat frame .... still rattles .... know the driving whilst caressing the seat bolsters position well m8!!!

Just put up with it. I had new seat runners on my car when it was two weeks old. Its rattling like a good un again now. Best fix Ive found is to wedge a crash helmet behind the seat!!!

They wont for long though mate. Mine lastest around 3 - 4 months before the new set started to do the same.
