Passenger side door locking problem

Have a problem: i pressed lock from my fob while the doors were still open accidently and now my passenger side door will not lock or unlock via the fob i have to do it manual.

i tried fiddling with the catch inside the door but its made no difference, had a look at the fuse dont think thats gone.

any ideas?

its only a 1.4 alize

its a clio alize` w reg so 2000 i believe, yes both doors have them

In that case you have a locking motor problem.

First check the connector that runs between the A post and the door, make sure its tight.If thats OK, Then you need to look inside the door itself.

Does the electric window work ?

bummer, yeah the window works ok
it was working fine until i activated the central locking while the doors were open.

dont fancy ripping the trim apart but if i must.

will have a gander tommorow see whats what

yes i have, tried pressing that while in the car and when doors are open but no joy

Ah...then i think you have to pull the door card off !
