Passengers Window Wont Close

There are numerous threads covering this but none have an answer so sorry to make another.

I have a MK2 PH2 1.2 2004 with a passengers window that will open but not close.

You can feel the motor clicking at the fully open position as it can't go any further, as is normal. However when you pull the switch the other way, the motor makes no attempt to run the opposite way.

Things I have tried:

Replaced motor and actuator assembly.
Replaced doors wiring loom.
Replaced the switch.
Swearing at it a bit.
Offering it beer.

None of which seem to work. At a guess I would assume the issue in in the car somewhere, only thing is I have no idea where to start looking.

This has got myself and @Typhoon really confused, so any help at all is appreciated!

None of the loom within the engine bay looks snagged. Randomly went out the blue as well. Hmmmm.

Bought myself a Haynes manual to have a look at relay locations.

It looks like the Relay for the windows are on the UCH, which according to the Haynes manual cannot be removed without re-programming to go back in the car. I'm pretty sure that is a load of rubbish but can someone confirm / deny?

There's a thread somewhere where someone opens up the UCH and replaces a relay, I'll dig it up later

I don't think the part about having to re-program is entirely true as we were discussing with Alfie. Better safe than sorry though!
