i just installed a mobile phone unlocking tool on my pc and i went to open it and boosh it was a virus and now i cant get rid of it but i have norton 2008 and some how it has bypassed it

What did you expect Norton to do?

You'll probably find that running a good free antivirus program will remove the virus. Try AVG Free. http://free.grisoft.com/. You'll need to remove Norton.

Let me guess, the phone unlocking stuff was free?

First of all get rid of norton, its shite! try AVG like mentioned above or I like avast which is also free. Also could try an online scan, one I use quite a lot is housecall by trend micro - http://housecall.trendmicro.com/uk/
