When you by a pc you get a two pin plug. Can i juat cut this off and fit a 110v plug on the end of the PC machine?

Think you need a transformer to convert it from 110v to 240v? Not sure ive heard people mention transformers before.

yeah i know that, got a 110v transformer and lead at home, i cant see any reason i can't just cut off the two pin plug on the PC unit, and make it a 110v plug, to mate up with my existing lead......

There is a handy guide to re wiring a PC on detailing world. By doing that, you can still put the original lead back on if you have to send it back for warantee issues.
