PC Ingame recording + Compressing

Hey all

Been recording ingame footage atm on my PC using a program called FRAPS and compressing it with windows movie maker *think its called that*

Anyways FRAPS makes a 2min avi up to about 3gb!!! and the compression only turns a 2min vid into 180mb which seems a bit high still.


Does anyone know a good ingame recorder? or especially a good compression program?

tbh mate FRAPS is the best in game recorder around (or at least I think so)

Just use a free mpeg encoder to get the size down

fraps is awesome.. may make them big but dam it holds in the quality of the video

I just need to find a good avi encoder to make it smaller

Format Factory (free) is also very useful for encoding videos.

Aye - another shout out for FRAPS - absolutely love it. And it adds a nice little animated screen on the G15 keyboard too.
