I'm doing my mate a 3 Pin 110v plug to U.S plug as he's being a fairy and wont cut the PC cable...
The U.S plug doesn't have an earth terminal and the Live/Neutral can be wired any old way as the plug can be rotated 180 degrees... see pic below.
Is this a problem when I come to plug the PC into it? ie, do I need to know which way round the wires match up?? comfused.com!!!!
I've left some wire showing so that I know which one is at each terminal, but its the PC that will be the problem as the plug and wire are all covered...
