To cut a long story short my mum's new pc doesn't have a parallel port so my dad bought this: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/124657
Printer is a HP PSC 500 All in One.
Windows XP has detected the printer and installed the driver and it's set up on LPT3.
The problem is that the printer prints blank pages at random without my mum even pressing print and when she does press print it will print a few pages of crap before it starts printing what it's supposed to.
Any ideas? From what I can see the correct driver is being used and the printer worked fine on her old pc via an onboard parallel port.
