I bet the owner would be delighted to know you've posted his reg on the internet whilst mentioning you took it for a blast and that it's needed a repair.
A brand new car like that and its having work done already to it? Doesnt bode well!
Oh and /jelous

get off the bandwagon boys, it happens everywhere, dont blame the fella for taking it for a spin, tbh he is probli a better driver than the owner, if the owner has scraped it already

tbf how would you feel if your pride and joy was that car, and you was the owner and you had just seen this thread, you would be pretty annoyed wouldn't you!
tbh i would be more annoyed if they started slating it, which i spose they have done a little bit above, but thats at everyones opinion, lets face it, if you take your car to a garage and it is a desirable car it is bound to have been taken out for a test drive, whether you like it or not, but the op said nothing but good things about it, so tbh wouldnt bother me, as long as no damage had been caused dont see the problems tbh
i see your side but imo i don't think it's right that this sort of thing happens. i wouldn't care less if the guys working there thought it was the worst thing they'd ever seen as long as they had just done the job and not been taken up the street and found that it's rapid - possibly on a cold engine too which is something that i'd definatly not be happy about!!
yer see now i agree about the cold engine thing, thats just not on, i would be fuming if i found that my car is going to be ragged from cold, but how are you going to know, whether anyone likes it or not when you take your car to a garage and it is desirable/rare people will drive it, and id rather someone drive it who actualli cares rather than some of scotty little kid who just wants to rag it, and tbh dont get me wrong, if you could guarentee that the car wouldnt be driven then even better but in this world that aint going to happen,
not intending to offend
Nice way to get in s**t with the owner.
Would be really pissed of if that was mine. Had a simular happen to me, mot station put 35 miles on my old golf over 2 days. Got the mot for free and new pads all round as i kicked off. Read in mags all the time about people that crash customers cars.
I now write down my millage, reset the clock and if they have driven it and there was no need to KICK OFF big style.

Its only a car, crikey some people are a bit precious!

Looks nice bud.
Exacly what i thought when the job card came to me ... only 1100 odd miles on the clock.
Had quite a few 09 plates in the last few months.
lowest i've seen was 6 miles at our place, Passat CC which also came in for a repair to the bumper and wing, Onsite pleb damage
Got to work on this this week brand new scoooob yeee ....
Came in to repair the wing and bumper , bumper wing and door needed blending.
Once finished took it for a drive up the road and back only one word for it ... RAPPPIIIIIDDDD
thanks for the people on my side i never said i ragged it anywhere to the rest of you i just said it was quick :S only put my foot down a little bit when taking it up the road to the company car park !!!!!!!
criticize all you want tbh i really don't care because at the end of the day I'm the one putting in the hard work to fix the car, the owner cant take much care of it himself to crash it in the first place.
