Permanent live

I've bought a little tracker off of eBay, you can fit a sim card in it and text it, and it texts you back with a its location

But obviously when you fit you have to wire it in, it has to be connected to a permanent live. I was reading a thread on here which said the cigarette lighter is a permanent live. I fitted to it using scotch locks but the tracker doesn't come on

Is the cigarette light a permanent live or is there any other live I could connect it to?

err you cant track it lol,

its got a internal battery which lasts so long

Cigarette lighter is only live with the ignition. Most other cars its a permanent live though.

There is a permanent live to the radio.

Find a red wire and splice into it.
