My posts seem to keep going missing.....So I'll be brief

What do I need along with modem to play online? PS2, thanks

You need the game, ps2 with network card, 1or 2MB internet conenction, playstation network access disc. I think you also need to register your PS2 on sthe ps2 online gaming website. A login name which no has already and thats it. any problem give me a shout.

Right, how do I know if I have a network card? If not where do I get one from and how much mate? Have 8mb connection so ok there. Whats this access disc and where do I get that from? Nice one

oh dam. I was in ur boat. I was forced to buy a slim line which has a built in network card. It gonna be a headace for u as u need to buy a network card to fit in the back of ebay or something. sorry dude.

Try and swop it with someone.

U sure? When I went into Game the guy (who to honest o coudn;t figure out if I believed he knew what he was talking about) said that all I needed was a wire that goes from the modem to the ps2...

Mate fook them guys in game. Thats all you need if you have a network card which you dont unfortunately. I've got the PS2 which you had and had to buy the slim line as I could get hole of a network card for my first PS2. The New slim line PS2 has a bulit in network card.
