petal position sensor

hi to all am new here so would like some info on my clio 1.2 16 v that i have, am going to replace the throttle patal position sensor which came up as fault on the code reader, were is the sensor on the block, i have looked on the top of the block at the back and found an small metal box by a sensor it would be good if any one could tell me if that is the one, plus have noticed some bare wires from it were the metal box has been against it. i would be greatfull if some would help me out here.

I think you need a full pedal if the sensor is the same thing as a throttle petetiometer (forgive the spelling)
