Ph 1 Clutch pedal grinding noise

only happens when i have the clutch down, started off as a quiet noise but now its gone onto a grinding noise

and its started to judder when trying to pull off but is fine once going?:S

any ideas what this could be?

or clutch release bearing as its also called,

new clutch on the horizon im afraid.
