Ph-Quick tuning advice in here please.

Car  Leon Cupra R 225
Right I've decided to go for a ph-quick 172 when I've got the funds.

I've seen a few ph1's on here with the carbon splitter on the front, and it looks fecking mint. I want one... Where can I get hold of one and how much am I looking at?

Next up.. I want to get a non standard full exhaust put on but what is the best system for the ph-quick? how much? links would be good :approve: It has to be built really well, cost shouldn't be a problem. I've been hearing good things about Yozzas' systems and another one I can't think of right now ffs :S

Also, I've usually had some sort of induction kit/panel filter replacement on most of my cars, I've seen the viper kit on ph-quicks with the cold air feed being placed down to where the left fog light should be. Is this any good or should I be thinking Maxogen or someone like that. Cost won't really matter I just want the best parts that are going to last.

I'll ask about coilovers when I've won the lottery LOL...

dont change the induction! its the best system for the ph1, its sacralidge to take it off. Put in a k and n panel or itg and be done. As for exhausts i'm getting the yozzasport road system. Other than that you've got prospeed who are good at custom jobbies, magnex sound nice if you want a quiet 'bolt on' exhaust

As Middo says dont get an induction kit. Put an ITG or K&N fiter in and get some larger airfeeds to replace the standard ones. Done this on mine and it sounds awesome and has better pickup. Can post some pics if you like.

lol ok mate, I knew the induction was good, but sacralidge to take it off!? I'll get an ITG panel filter and be done then mate. Sound advice. Prospeed that's the one! I've had a magnex on a ph2 1.2 and wasn't that impressed with the quality which is meant to be awesome for the price. I really like the yozza systems... yum. I've got an RSR garage close to me that do good Powerflow systems tailored etc... about £390 in vat. Should I consider this or forget it?

they only do a carbon fibre cup splitter for the ph2 172, and as they obviously dont bend etc etc dont think u'll be able to get one to fit

lol! don't read it then :rasp: :)

ah the fuel won't be too much of a problem as it won't be getting used most of the week

another thing, does the yozza ragnotti road system sound better or worse for a decat? I'd prefer it loud so am thinking de-cat but MOT time etc means hassle...
