Car  Trophy #473
The b*****d thing keeps going off for no reason, help, is there any way i can make it not as sensitive?

If it's so bad that its waking the neighbourhood up then I think you can bypass it by just locking with the key in the lock. Not certain but think so.

got a feeling if its the ultrasonics thats setting it off if you swap them over (connections)the sensitivity is reduced by about 50%

As said above. Take the little black sensors (On the A pillers) off and swop the wires around. It will reduce the sensitivity by approx 50%. That should sort it.:D

Would say the sensors, had this problem on mine, altthough instead of swapping over, I took the right hand one apart as wire was exposed, adjusted wires and has been fine ever since. Wasn't great when they did the windscreen that they masticked the alarm sensor wires to the windscreen :/
