Seen your car darting around Eynsford a couple of time, really like it.

Hope it gets better soon mate.

Not in the last week, I hope !!

Thanks tho :)

ooo nasty mate, so annoying!! that's really odd how the guy managed that. nice car mate, hope you get it sorted. i like the last dusk shot of the barge though, very clever.

I'm still adamant he let his guide-dog drive...!

Cheers... Those photos look ace on my iMac, but SO crappy on my work screens, with 50p worth of graphics cards :dead:

When do you get it back mate?
Hateful having the car away for repairs but all worthwhile when it's done & done well :)

Well the Clio is back at home after a month.

:drunk:

Paint looks good ... Car was immaculate inside and out. Even has a sprinkling of tyre gel on the Paradas!! The guy said there's a FIVE year guarantee on the work !!!

Clio feels odd getting back into it after so long. Even getting off the drive seemed like an effort. The steering felt heavy (for the first time ever), the pedals are heavy, and the seating position is WAY too weird and high. The car feels tiny compared to the barge and it's going to take some getting used to again !

Barge kept me amused for about 850 miles in the last month (where the hell did I drive!?) and I think I'll miss the luxury things like cruise, and the fact i can take 4 people in comfort easily.

:sleepy:

Ho hum. Back to the world of Clios, and it feels strange !

Ahh you have experienced other cars...it does question your loyalties doesnt it?

I had a MX5 courtesy car and put 2k miles on it for the 3 weeks I had it! I didnt want to give it back and when i got back into the Clio I hated the driving position and the fact you had to reach for the gear stick etc.

Haha .. yeah, but it's not like I'm being paid to drive a Renault.. There are other cars in the world

The barge was nice... and good at being a wafty barge with tons of unsprung mass that did not like changing direction - where as the Clio is good at being a small quick French hatch with tons of personality !

I need three cars. And a helicopter for sh*ts and giggles

Glad to hear it got sorted. Good outcome!!

Me too :) Cheers
