Ph1 heater resister pack

hi there my heater is packed up ,looked it up and I can't find any pics for a ph1 172 resister ,where is it any one got any pics please

Hmmmm I would like to know the answer to this as well, as mine has also recently packed up. Theres lots of info regarding the phase 2 and the position of the resistor but I couldn't find anything RE the phase 1.

Hopefully someone can help us out.:up:

It's under the scuttle panel (that's the black plastic panel under the windscreen held on by two clips). Pull it off gently (fnah fnah!!) on the driver's side, disconnect the wiring, remove the blower motor and hey presto, there it all is!
