Ph1 & ph2 cats/decat the same?

As title, can I put a cat or decat off a ph2 onto a ph1?

Yep, far as I am aware.

I fitted a oreaca group N system from ktec that is listed for a ph1 172 to my 2002 ph2 172 without a problem.
