Ph1 rear lights all the same?

is there any difference between the 172 and 1.2 tail lights? Really liking them at the moment and Want some for my cup. Ta

No they are exactly the same it's the ph2 that are different but they retro fit on to the ph1

As above, its not a spec/engine difference, its phase 1/phase 2 (ie pre 2000 models have all red tail lights, accross the range)

Just gave that a go myself (if you're talking phase 1 lights on a phase 2??) mine didn't work properly initially but you can kinda make the ph2 bulb holder part push into the ph1 lens, wasn't sold on how water-tight it was though so stuck to ph2 in the end

Would pay me to look properly at the thread first (stupid boy) spotted the linked guide for rewiring which I've overlooked! Will give that a go later!
