Ph1 to Ph2 rear light conversion

Just completed the conversion following the guide on here (thanks FuBar!) and whilst all the lights I need to be legal work, I found that only the right hand side rear fog lights and reversing lights worked. Is this just how it is with the conversion or are both sides supposed to work?

Definitely have the wiring correctly and both sides indicators, tail lights and brake lights work.

Also it looked like both tail lights were a bit dim? Will go and have another look later when it's dark just to see.

I did try changing the bulbs just to make sure they wern't blown. But they were definitely working.

Any clarification would be much appreciated.

Just been outside and the sidelights are actually fine and now the left hand side reversing light has magically appeared!

Going to guess that the connector might be a little bit dodgy and whilst screwing the lights back in it somehow made it work. :S

Left fog light still didn't come on so I guess that I need to do a little bit more tweaking

probaly not gonna help but when i did mine i did it by using the holders for refrence traced each cable then put it in its correct possition and everything and both fogs work .

I only have a right hand fog - and it's all that's required to be legal.

you'd need to splice into the wires and get a cable going from the right side fog to the left.. because only the right hand side is designed to work

some clio's don't even have the bulbs in the left side fog light place

the left fog isnt designed to be used. isnt in the loom.
