phase 1 172 radiator

Hi everyone,
This is my first post up here, but i'd be grateful for any help. My phase 1 172 has developed a leak from the radiator, seemingly from the body of the fan rubbing aganist it. Just wondering if any of you know the part number for the radiator itself as it might be worth my while buying a new one rather than getting the one on it repaired. My clio has aircon in case that makes a difference.

i had the same problem bout 4 months back. It ended up being way cheaper to get it repaired. they just sealed the one line up that was leaking. cost me next to nothing compared to the price of a new radiator.

cheers for the replies lads. I'll be getting a quote for a repair done in the morning, just wanted to have an idea of the price of a new one so i could make the best decision on what i should do.

did you have the same problem with the fan rubbing off the rad BoomOne? Think I'll have to shim it out with some washers to make sure it doesnt happen again.

Nightmare of a drive friday night, accelerator cable snapped and radiator holed within 20 miles of each other, and it was lashing rain too of course!
