phase 1 172 throttle body on non sport?

I was told that a phase 1 172 throttle body would fit on my 1.2..

He said that is has the same bolts/screws that hold it in place just the inlet hole is bigger

If this is true this would be epic and mean I could get a proper sport induction kit!

Would it fit is all I'm asking really :L

Does the 1.2 have a side or rear mounted TB as standard?

My old 1.4 clio had the throttle body facing the bulkhead so it was impossible to make any 2 litre induction kit fit...

May possibly fit then but i doubt the inlet on your manifold will even begin to pair up with the larger TB. Couldnt say if it'd run properly either.

Lots of nice, well thought out 1.2 inductions kits on the market though.

yeah i have a 57i on it at the moment, was just wondering if anyone had tried it though xD

No gains to be had, if you had the 1.4 engine you'd have more options as its 'basically' the same lump as the F4R exterior wise, much easier to convert induction kits.
