Hi

Another question for you. Are there any big differances between the p1 and p2? From what i can see is that there isnt a big differance but am no expert.

Only cosmetic differences appear between these models.

Bonnet, headlamps, rear lamps and interior trims.

Same engines, gearboxes and running gear.

Bonnet and headlamps are the same apart from the bonnet gains a newer style badge.

Wing mirrors, dials, heater controls, grille and rubbing strips all get updated for the phase 2.

huh?? u guys talking about the 172s?? with the 172s the suspension has been tweaked a tiny bit, theres more equipment on the mk2 which makes it heavier... and the throttle body is different giving a greater spread of torque to make up for the extra weight...

sorry was talking about the 16vs, cant afford the 172!! cheers any way, ill try and mind it on for 10 years time

ive got a phase two, quite like the slightly more rounded look of it but i think the phase one looks slighlty meaner! have a look at the gallery. Outkasts red valver looks well mean!

Ive got a phase 3 1.4 kinda softer and more rounded thing they only went from 96-98.

THEN ROLLED IN THE MK 2!

ive got a crossbreed! late phase 1 early phase 2. seem to have bits off both!
