phase 1 alloys

can anyone help.

I have a set of phase 1 16v wheels but no key to take off the centre caps. Does anyone know if there is a place in the car where the key is kept or if any other tool can get these centre caps off.

use a pair of long nose pliers,works a treat

If you post your location, maybe a member with a key could oblige?

Youll be doing well to find a member with a key that fits!

You could try one of those gatorgrip (think thats what its called) sockets - think they have pins that form to the shape of a bolt and may locate in the key holes so you could get your bolts off.

Didnt realise they differed from car to car.. guess it makes sense tho!

Come to think of it - try a dealer! They must have a univeral tool as im sure not everycar that comes in for servicing etc has its key with it....

use a centre punch and a hammer to knock the bolts round
