Phone for the missus

Right, the other half likes this phone so im getting it for her for Christmas.

My question is, its only available from Carphone Warehouse due to the snazzy ltd edition pattern on Virgin PAYG.

Could this be unlocked so i could put any payg simcard into it, and if so how?

sorry if its a stupid question, but ive always had contract phones from o2 which come unlocked from the box

well they carnt i know with most new fones u have to contact the service provider and ask them , for it unlocking , could charge u 25 quid for it doing fone virgin payg before u buy it to verify it
