This place has been my favourite building for ever but I've never seen it up close before today !! I just love the way it's all inside out but looks timeless and classic all at the same time. What a fantastic piece of architecture !

Off topic, I found out the other day that the Lions in Trafalgar Square are made with bronze from captured French cannons from the battle of Trafalgar.

Off topic, I found out the other day that the Lions in Trafalgar Square are made with bronze from captured French cannons from the battle of Trafalgar.

Hmm.. wherever you read that, I assume it started with 'THIS REALLY HAPPENED' and other internet lie detector signs ?

If you're on 3G rather than WiFi, your provider sucks the life out of photos, so hopefully just that.

Going full size, they're not perfect but at 800px wide vs 3500px they look spot on to me.

Check them out on computer later and come back to me

Following on to the Lloyd's building, inside is the same, the escalators are completely see through, and quite a lot else is inside out.
