No only kidding, you should have the line tool which you can select.

hold the lef button on the shape icon on the toolbar (might be a square/oval) and you can select differnt shapes including a straight line.

if it looks funny after uv drawn it then its because its selected. so either select another layer or rasterize the mofo!
