PI Lowering Spring Picture Thread

Just wondering if we could start a thread, if anyone has these fitted to their car. Look pretty decent from the photo
Danny @ 519 put up. Anyone else got any photo's of them on theirs?

(This isn't mine by the way. As said Danny put it up)

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
Judging by the price and therefore perceived quality, no lol.

perception is a funny thing. Forums are terrible for recommending or writing off something on the basis of 4th hand info. Human nature to copy/follow other lead I guess.

No they aren't pi in the koni kit. More likely GMAX

i know Pi used to have a bad rep but if Danny feels theyre up to his standard then I'd be inclined to take his word for it

IMO Danny is simply catering to the budget that most owners of these cars have, and there is nothing particularly wrong with that, but you cant compare these to Eibach Sportlines, different class. Much like you cant compare Raceland/Vmaxxx/Ktec coil overs to KW.

I certainly wouldnt fit PI to any car of my own, but if you all want is cheap lows then fine.

Are these the new sportlines?!

judging by the... perceived quality, no...

Right.. Pretty sure Danny would have something to say about that...

Sorry, thought I made it clear. I'm not expressing any opinion/fact on whether they're good or not, just commenting on why they won't be the new sportlines.

Comparatively unknown brand & low price = the (often correct) assumption that they won't be as good. If they turn out to be excellent for the price or even excellent compared to sportlines, who wins? Us, the consumer. That's more than fine by me.

Perfect example of perception rather than experience right there tbh.

I think you'd be surprised how many eibach owners are a bit disappointed for the money spent. Mostly they wont post as the get shot down

And thats not saying eibach are crap. They're clearly not, but they don't suit everybodys needs

Yea Steve wasn't a dig. Fair enough

They are practically the same price as Eibach's, so not really catering for a cheaper market..

Anyway this is a picture thread! Not an arguing thread. If anyone has any pics of them fitted on their cars whack them up!

I've owned both eibach and pi, so it's a comment from experience.

well iv got to say ithink the sportlines can be abit to stiff at times compared to the standard cup springs.. been toying with the idea of going back to the cup springs and getting shot of the sportlines

I see these on eBay all the time but I'm really not too sure what to make of them to be fair, as I've always went by "you get what you pay for", not just with lowering springs but with everything.

Not sure if he's still on here actually, but Crippin had the 45mm mk3 ones on his TCE and it was a very nice drop actually
