PIAA Platnum sidelights - road legal?

ive got PIAA platnum white sidelights in my car now their website says "E-Marked for European road use"

so does this mean these are legal for road use in the UK and should pass an mot?! my car just failed on them didnt think id have to change them because they were e-marked but ohh well!

re test is tomorrow and swapped them over with ones from my other clio but the guy wasn't too nice about it when i challenged him (i was in no way agressive or anything, just politely said they are apparently road legal) and he told me "im telling you there not, there blue, standard cars dont have blue sidelights"

I had similar with some PIAA sidelights.

I think the word we're looking for here is "jobsworth" lol

You could try the "here's the packaging, stick it up your arse" approach but the minimal hassle option is to just change them...

Be careful though, as the blue paint stuff came off on my hands so now they're manky yellow :( (but still brighter than other sidelights!)

white, bright white but when turned off they are blue.

so they glow the correct colour but arn't the "normal" colour when turned off, so why didnt he fail it for my diadem indicator bulbs?! they glow the correct colour but are blue when off.

think he was just being a knob to be honest!
