pic request- cold air feed

Car  An old banger!


last week someone put a post up regarding cold air feeds (the circular attachment thats cut into the front mesh!)

has anyone got any pics of these ? think mike172 did?
 


i was taking a nice pic of my car then that big homo pete comes along to ruin it lol!

cheers dude, once youve cut the hole then attached the pipe to the circular thing(lol) do you need to tie it on or anything?
 


Eves mind his is a cup, it aint as easy on a 172, theres lots of stuff in the way...

Was just about to say the same... lots of stuff to get in the way. Possible to route one down to offside wheel arch, but very hard to get down infront of rad.

Thing is...Limited knowledge here, is the pipe is too long its counter productive and if its too flexible/soft, the pipe can contract and starve the engine of air...The best route/Most interesting route was dun my eskibests new K&N jobby. Soz canny help you on positioning, Mike172 the boy to ask id imagine.

dont think hes realised what a awkward job it is lol...
 


fred im gonna let him fit it...but if he has major problems with the cold air feed and attachment ill deffo take u up on that offer cheers buddy
