Went over to Yoz's to pick up a decat pipe and have a good gander at what i'll be ordering very, very soon. :evil:

The quality looks spot on and i should get a gain from just the decat.

Has anyone got a decat on the standard 182 system? If so, what does it sound like, and does it feel any quicker? ...i doubt it feels quicker, right?

Also, have other 172/182 owners unplugged the second lambda sensor or screwed it in to the decat?

Oms had a standard system with decat, its slightly raspier, and gets better economy.

Decat makes next to no difference on a 182 system...Noise wise. Can't comment on the power increase tho.

Mine is a lot louder but ive got a prospeed too, power wise it just feels more 'free' and response mid range is loads better. 1.6 though but id imagine itd be the same on the 182.....

I have the yozzasport decat on the standard system mate. Also have that clamp on it too

Fits perfect, I have got the sensor plugged into it.

Sounds a bit raspier, smells different from the back of the exhaust lol, better mpg (without a doubt) and imo the engine feels slightly more "responsive".

Your emmisions light WILL come on tho.

Ive got both my sensors plugged in and the lights hasnt come on! Mine is a silenced decat though, maybe that makes a difference??

The cat back sounds just right as is but want to free it up a bit more..

Mine isnt that loud when you at a steady speed ie motorway or cruising along a b road etc. Its just accelaritng from low down when it makes loads or noise! No light is a bonus too.......

I love my full YS system on the 197. Sounds nice inside the car but haven't heard it outside yet. No lights on dash either which is good.
