Pickin Up Clio This Afternoon :) YES!!

At last I am picking up my Brand New Clio 1.6 16v this afternoon after waiting 8 weeks .

What checks do I need to take when I go to pick up the car?

Although I am chacking myself because I havent drove since passing my test in July & this is my first car.

Will post pics in the next couple of days..

what colour is it? black?

just check for things like alloy key, scratches, mats, petrol, paperwork, and that nice bubblegum smell when theyre new.

Well when i picked up my Clio there was a little dent and the drivers door wasnt hung properly.

Make sure you have a good inspection of it, as you only get a limited time to reject a car.

Im sure you wont be that unlucky though, so congratulations, and enjoy the Clio!

well enjoy the car in the knowlege that its a little 172 lookalike

oh and one more thing.... ask them if you can get money off the servicing and parts... 10% or somethin. I know someone who did this when they picked up the car and they said yes! it all helps!

Yeah i got a 10% discount card for all servicing and parts when i bought the 182

Just got home after picking my car up *f**kING BRILLLIANT* . I was going to take some pics but guess what - being the UK its raining currently in Sheffield. They put a full tank of petrol in as well.

My First Question is: Can you fold the wing mirrors in? Cuss at the moment I cant find the switch.

And they do fold in - I have to do this living on a main road.

sounds like a nice first car, ive got a clio mk1 1.4 RT, i like it loads and its quite nippy for my first.

i feel worried for a m8 of mine whos getting a 150bhp valver for his first car.

hes in full time work and supposadly can afford it at 17
