looked like a class day but i would feel so guilty after putting my car through so much punishment. very good times, 1st couple runs it seems to bog down in second gear was you changing up to early?

Most times i have seen runs at the pod almost all the cars tend too bog down in second. The surface of the road changes (rubber) quite a bit on the section where most change.

dude your poor f**king car

It was spread over the weekend, my car is looked after well (it's far from standard) and if it couldn't take the punishment, i'd have to get something different. the drag racing is probably the hardest on a car, burnouts once spinning aren't too bad, if you stay off the limiter and keep an eye on temps, and the flames are natural with the correct map ;)

as for the runs, it was a toss up between staying on the limiter in first or bogging down in second....seemed to give better times if i held onto 1st for a bit longer

Fookin flamethrowers on that Fiesta!

I know, it was rediculous. the same guy last year had an escort, which he set the bumper on fire. no need

Looks like an awsome weekend, love your car Daz!

Makes proper flames, not just a propane cylinder hidden in the boot.

Thanks, it was good to abuse it for what it was made for. Cadwell park a week today!

there was no cylinders hidden in the boot of those cars, they were just lying on the back seats!

  A Flamin' Red one
That Fiesta in the first photograph, the green one. He lives litterally around the corner from me! How did it get on? He's forever driving it like he stole it.

  A Flamin' Red one
Shame, I was hoping he'd have failed!

Good thread though it all scares me slightly. Far too much chav for my liking :(
