Heres some quick pics of my new Iceberg MK2 172 that i got last week. Overall im VERY happy with it, looks brilliant, drives brilliant, pretty quick and love the interior. think this ones staying standard-ish apart from the ICE as im really not impressed with it! so thinking of getting a new headunit, front comps, sub and amp.

might bring it along to meets but im pretty skint this month due to paying the deposit on the car, paying off my insurance in 1 payment and going on holiday all in one month!!!!

got it for £6800 with 24k on the clock, new front and rear brakes, oil and filter change (was serviced early at 21k) 1yr warranty, 1yrs mot

never had an engine cover for some reason?

cheers, still got the wee 1.2 its staying, i still love driving it lol all that noise and poping lol it makes ur ears bleed, 172 is just nice and standard and QUIET!! lol

might get the inlets matched, panel filter and remap but thats all, no noisy mods or harsh ride mods!

in all honesty, the problem is exactly the same problem ive experianced with the 1.2, 16" wheels. it tramlines too much, i dont like a car that tramlines at 130mph! thats why my turinis were only on my 1.2 for a couple of weeks then back to 15" wheels.

I've never experienced any probs at all driving my old mans 172, nor my vee (on private roads doing some speed)

get some Eibach Sportlines, get rid of the 4*4 look (just) but the fun is so much better on the twistys:rasp:

Joking apart bud, looks a really nice, tidy example. Xenons against the iceberg look the dogs, will look awesome at night.

The Clio was great for a wee blast (if you can have that in a 1.4 lol). Once the Eibachs were on, you could chuck it anywhere and it was a hoot.
