what does GDI mean??

they look spot on mate, coz i only got a 1.4 i was thinking of getting the 16valve bonnet getting the badge smoothed and the k-tec angel eyes but having the top of the bonnet made to it goes round the top of the lights, i know sum1 whos done that with a ford escort only hes got the lamp conversion not angel eyes!
