^^My mate wrote off his 1.4 RT two years ago (in the wet) by hitting a fence protecting a generator.

He had to pay for the fence but he didn't care to much as we were lucky to be alive (We just missed the generator by a few feet!!!)

Glad he's ok, it's only metal.

Yeah, if copper took his plate he will get bill through post, I once knocked a lamp post over (backed into it with an 18 ton truck!!) and our company got the bill through the post!!

My mate wrote of his modded to hell punto by ploughing through a fence and then taking down a lampost (he was stupid and drunk)....the car was well mashed up with a bend in the bonnet all the way up to the windscreen where he hit the lampost...he managed to get out and walk home and the coppers turned up a few hours later...glad he's still alive though at the end of it all!!
